    There are studies that have been going on for years involving elevated CO2 levels and grasses/plants. The results are certainly mixed as some plants struggle with the elevated CO2 while others thrive. The other concern I read, is that with higher CO2 concentrations the soil is adversly affected and requires more water. Also the study suggested with higher CO2 some plants lose structural integerity. However in saying all of that the study does suggest elevated CO2 levels are beneficial on a whole.
