By and large the UK, US and Australia have had 2 Party systems until recently.,It served all well, the democratic process available to change teams when they became stale.
The contrast with multi Party govt's is stark. Government by consensus ... a disaster.
I'd welcome reform to Senate voting which would rid us of minor Parties. The system works better when governments can govern -- -look at NZ under Key.
