Your right misty, Abbott is only serving his self interest and no longer serving the best interest of the Liberal party.

Think it was only out of respect for a former PM that Abbott was allowed to run in his electorate but that looks like it was a mistake.

Abbott was offered a post in London, he would have done every one a favour if he had. When he was considering his future over the 2015 summer break, it is said that his wife and others suggested he quite politics but as usual Abbott doesn't respond well to sound advice.
