I think that the stock has been held down too low for a long time.
Hence I consider this to be a natural reaction in addition to that caused by the Announcement.
So, there are investors who have been waiting to get on board but hoping that there would be a retracement.
As this didn't occur, they now need to buy in at higher prices.
There could be an effect from overseas publicity as well, who knows what went through the PR machine over there and the flow-on effects of magazine publicity.
PBT hasn't really got that many shares, only some 66.2 mill. I wonder how many of those are in "firm" hands.
