Sorry utkant but if the cost on average is $4.00 US a barrel to find oil why would any company look at APCL over the SNE field as WPL tried paying almost half that amount for SNE. If the cost of the SNE field increased dramatically then APCL may look attractive but even then the number of dusters and the cost of drilling those well would be a deterrent. Even though my faith in CN has diminished a little due to the number of disputes over our leases I do remember her saying that FAR had the best part of the shelf edge. From memory the shelf edge turns right to the land mass at the edge of FAR's and APCL's lease intersection so APCL leads are more likely to be deep water, more costly, higher risk and not developed unless the oil price increase dramatically from where it is now. Why would you look for a beer lookalike when you know you can buy beer?
