Many big western companies think they can do it themselves in China. Fact is, China is a very complex market to enter, entry barriers are difficult and can be very challenging.

The fact SMA has managed to secure its position in the lottery market, suggests they know the importance of partnerships and the fact CM8 has decided to partner up with SMA to gain access in to China is also a testament to how uniquely SMA is positioned.

As you know the lottery market is heavily regulated which majority of gaming companies would love to take part in. But reality is these companies will struggle entering the Chinese Lottery Sector and likely they will not get the required licences. SMA has the foot in the door so let's see how this unfolds, can be a huge game changer if this comes off...

SMA has build a database of 6 million customers and I expect this to grow well into the future - once the lottery initiatives and WeChat commerce takes flight you will see SMA being able to cross sell many of its services.

This is a long-term investment, like to see momentum on the logistic part of the business too. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
