I can understand where you are coming from but mate, how on earth do you propose the gov to implement a policy and de-marginalized a certain race or religion? But in part reply to your issue I have to say and ask - why does the gov stops people leaving the country to join ISIS? Should they be allowed to leave but sign a waiver of sorts that they will never be allowed back to Australia rather than forcibly keep them here to cause trouble and money to lock or monitor them?? This makes no sense!

But we are digressing. This thread is about barring specific races and for all intents and purposes are targeting hardworking and responsible people who wants to come to Australia to live a peaceful and happy life. If there are issues on integration, by all means the gov should implement programs to improve or encourage them but shunning is not the right way.
