i disagree with your assessment. Not calling you stupid.
What i am saying is that buyers who want the seller's last price stock post 4pm bid up the price in order to secure the stock before 4.15pm. It has nothing to do with exciting investors as they actually purchase the stock at the first sell price and not the price that they bid at.
The first seller for EXT was 9.8c. Therefore whoever bid 14.5c as buyer got what was on offer at 9.8c and not at 14.5c. Simple trading execution!
Tomorrows opening price that actually buys stock and not the pre opening quotes that are crap because they disappear at 9.59am will determine if anyone is excited. I hope that there is excited as i own EXT>
