STING ? or what.

After rejecting many calls from foreign -voiced gent to say he has urgent news re Hacker to my sites, I went along with it. In brief, it appears guy overseas is trying to access my sites and privacy, and Telstra would like to set up a "sting", involving sending him $$ via Money Gram International and arresting him when he called to collect money.
I was credited with $1K and sent $$ as requested to name and address given me. (Less my small commission). Shortly after doing so, I was called advising that the guy had not called, and that larger amt. would surely entice him to call.
$6K soon credited (clear funds by "Telstra"to my a/c), and will be contacted again tomorrow with instns.. My cut this time $500, plus free Tls for 3 months.
Has anybody else had similar experience ? Promised that I would have safest coverage imaginable, at cost of $10 for 7 years, and Hacker would be gaoled for sure..
HELP....
