You may think what is positive about this.

As you will be aware Aust. governemnt is providing $1.1billion in funding through Broadband Connect to provide broadband to the bush.

While Telstra and Optus and AusAlliance are front runners recieving all the press, there are smaller outfits that are also bididng.

There is no way that Telstra or optus or AusAlliance will get a monoploy position. The money will be spread around.

Given the strategic partnerships being developed and in place, Broadband connect will provide significant revenues for Newsat through these partners.

The other advantage is the 4G technology. Why develop something which is available so Newsat has got product now, developing new product and just waiting for announcements.
