My understanding is that u MUST be a holder by the record date.
That is NOT sold anything (even with regards to t+3)
There is NO ex date etc etc as per say rights issues and things alike.
this is a different scenario to a rights issue where they have announcment telling you when it will get Ex entitlement.
IPO entitlement in this instance doesnt work that way.
thus u can NOT sell any stock until AFTER the Record date.
