DRC is far from the worst place in the world for mining-related investment.

The Fraser Institute publishes country/state rankings based on its annual survey of mining companies.

Its 2015 ranking of 'investment attractiveness' of 109 countries and states places DRC above a lot of other African countries - and also above Victoria (well done to the socialist nut jobs running Victoria at the moment).

As an aside, Western Australia ranked no. 1 in 2015.
