TPG and IInet, page-5

Hi,
I'm not disagreeing with anyone about their problems but I've been moaning about my speed dropouts for (years) with TPG, just want to share my story which might help someone out. My router modem was an old netgear which sat on my desk for about 4 years. It worked but was very hot. Nevertheless, being the tight ass! that I am I thought "working is working", a new router modem won't make any difference.

However, having bought a new ASUS as the modem eventually shorted out the house I was astounded to gain a 25% speed increase. The tech must have improved so much since I bought my old modem. I got it on ebay for about $140 delivered. JB Hi Fi was almost $350. God knows why anyone shops there.

Anyway, now enjoying much faster data. Kids are thankful too as I'm not yelling "everyone off youtube. I'm playing Battlefield 1"
