Was thinking same as most on here yesterday re rising share price on not much strength and have concluded for now that its to get the VWAP up for a credit raise.
Now historically (off top of head) FAR tend to raise well in advance. So I suspect FAR are covered for the announced upcoming drills and maybe intending to raise for a future drill program. The alternatives mentioned by other posters (DJ etc) all have merit but I think it will be SNE / FAN.
On a related subject, the recent discussions on the oil code etc. One thing that was mentioned, I think by Ya, that is relevant is the "use it or lose it". So potentially the JV could end up losing FAN unless they do some sort of appraising. Maybe they will just let it go if anyone wants it. On same note FAR have upcoming obligations further south (forgotten that country name).
To hot to be be stomping around golf course today. Might find myself a nice shady little bay and pull some flatties / whiting.
