Great post BP . Just wondering how long you've had solar installed ? I imagine there might be quite a difference between summer and winter depending on where you live .
6.5 kw is pretty low for a household . The average is more around 15 to 20 kw per day . You can see how a higher power user could come much closer to making the numbers work .

By your example we can see why suppliers are putting up the connection fee . Mine is up 100% over a couple of years . The more that people offset their power use with solar panels and batteries , the more it will cost to stay connected .
Not sure how it's going to end up .
