It is hardly the ONLY assumption, that is just one assumption at your convenience. MNS is offering a product that is not subject to a separate purification step which is outside the incumbent industry standard. It is my assumption that the verification test work would have higher thresholds, given that the entire process is still undergoing refinement.
If offtake agreements were being signed elsewhere with end users while MNS missed out, I would be concerned. Currently, the only sales agreements in the sector that focus on the Li-Ion market are MARKETING agreements with traders, not end users.
