I got Scotty Pape's new book as a work KK present. Demolished it in about 24 hours and walked away with some mixed feelings.
He offers a mixture of sound advice interspersed with unrealistic pipe dreams. Apparently, in order to save $100k+ for a house deposit, couples just need to live off one income!!! Easier said that done. He definitely writes to a target audience of young couples with no children and high disposable incomes.
For the most part, it's pretty basic advice for the people with minimal financial education.
Oh, and supplement your income folks by writing a book like he did!!! They sell like hotcakes around Xmas time
