thats a weird scenario - wouldnt the shorts want to hold on to those shares so that during the dilution due to recap they could buy back for peanuts of what they paid.
I dont believe this is short cover. Couple of posters suggested earlier that shorts have already been covered and an off market transfer for shorts in the cards - havent got a clue how all of this could work..
