    re: shore shoring up! Hi jfc,

    I have a question, as if you already did not know - why is it that Peter Shore's on-market purchase of 230,000 shares were classified in his Director's Interest Disclosure as "restricted ordinary shares"?

    On 6th August, UEC released a New Issue Statement concerning the issue /allotment of 2,230,000 shares. Of this number, 680,000 were issued @11c, 300,000 @13c, and 1.25m @17c, for a total of 2,230,000.

    No problems there, but same day Peter Shore buys 230,000 "restricted" shares for an average consideration of 29.74c. If it wasn't for:
    1)
    the coincidence of dates (both events happened on the 6th);
    2)
    Peter Shore's reference to "restricted ordinary shares"; and
    3)
    Peter Shore's reference to acquiring 230,000 shares at the same time as a new issue announcement refers to a 2.230m share issue,
    then:
    I would say good luck to all concerned.

    But, yet again, there is more to this than otherwise meets the eye.
