    Yes, well you and I may regard that as a certainty but the post was for TB based on his list of public confessions.
    We had a brief exchange but the idea that Jesus did not die for his sins ... and that in fact this belief actually in practice encourages continued sin seems to be an immovable object for him and most brands of Christianity.

    Seem to recall Oilburner even used it as a reason why the Genesis and the "fall" of Man must be true. Go figure.
    TB didn't seem to want to pursue the idea.

    I suppose Christian leaders had to offer something to the faithful to elevate the position of their Lord particularly since in general the faithful are not able to actually put what Jesus indicated, into practice.
    Interesting that somehow it is considered that public confession of sin or avowed repentance .. until the next time, and a belief that Jesus did it for them, is sufficient to deaden the occasional quiet voice of conscience.
