I came across this wand from Loreal in China. It employs some kind of magnetism to massage and push the ingredients into the skin around the eyes. This wand is very similar to the SK-II wand in weight and size and is specific to Loreals eye cream. I'm told it's only for a limited release and will be discontinued shortly. It's a free gift with the cream and has no additional cost at point of sale.

As I can't access westernised media that well in China I can't look further into this wand and whether OBJ has any play in it, however this is the response I received from Matt Wright of NWR Communications.

"We are aware of Loreal's marketing activities and are working with P&G in how we can possibly respond/report on this."

And this after pushing for more details.

"I can't confirm or deny anything further until we have some clearance from P&G, in which case we would announce it."

I can't tell whether we have any play in this wand but there is a striking resemblance. Jeff Edwards research gate profile last year also listed Loreal as a partner although Loreal cannot be found on his profile anymore.
