He has a sterling track record in resources and mining, has overseen heaps of companies, from small explorers to large producers like Normandy, and everything in between. He has an enviable record of producing value for shareholders as he has done here btw.
There is a top notch team here led by top notch management as evidenced by the share price growth over time.
Its like asking how many finance houses, or airlines, or gyms Branson has ever established, each time Virgin takes on a new project. Point is the competence, experience and track record of the operator which is damn near the best you can get in smaller resource plays in this case.
