The List is looking pretty good I think for 2017.

Langford and O'Meara are looking very fit so thats 2 underdogs that could surprise.

Noone expects Vickery to do much but I think he will beat expectations with the Hawks as the Role of each player is defined for them and I think thats exacly what Vickery needs to Optimise his Game.

Burton took Number 5, and Tom Mitchell took number 3,

12 of the Younger Players did Kokoda Treck with Clarko, So that should help the mental game.

Roughy, on his day is the best in the Midfield and on the Scoreboard, so even a half fit Roughy will have an impact.

Losing Lewis and Sam, has its Good and bad factors. Bad is thats 60 posessions per game that need to be found elsewhere. Good is that Lewis and Sam never bothered the Goal Umpire that much.

These Days every Midfielder needs 2 goals on a good day, and average 1 goal on a bad day, Sam and Lewis just werent kicking any. Add that to no Roughy out there and Hawks did well for 2016 when you consider bugger all goals from Sam and Lewis and none from Roughy as he wasnt there.

So based on all that, Id say the list overall is looking better for 2017 than 2016 was.

The 2 Mitchells side by side, Tom still gets possessions, and Goals and tackles, so Id say at wost covers for Sam.

Roughy in covers for Lewis, Covering for Hill is Hartung.

I think the List is good, its just a matter of getting used to no Sam and no Lewis out there, that could take a few games as the likes of Whitecross and Langford step up in the Midfield.
