Maybe not smart to make intricacies and intentions public while making a deal, especially if they are taking this offer seriously or expecting another? The reason they don't want to say too much is they know it will be up here in a flash to be picked apart by all and sundry. I would not interpret the radio silence as a slight on holders, but more that it's a strategic necessity.

More than anything I think it's been the conclusions drawn on public forums and social media that have done the damage to sentiment rather than anything material. So many experts.

Very hard to comment without full picture, and not going to speculate, but I'm starting to believe there is a very good reason for what they're doing. I don't buy the greed/ stupidity/ laziness / just don't feel like mining etc. comments.

Hard for all the long termers with such a sudden about face, but I'd say don't fire the chefs before they've served the meal.
You never know, you might even like it.
