When is the 700 MHz auction taking place in Australia?

If my research is correct, Telstra have been blocked - which leaves Optus, Vodafone and TPG in the hunt.

TPG's balance sheet will be hurting post the Singapore bid, and Vodafone have far too much debt on the HTA side to bid for it - which leaves Optus, who can probably win the bid off their own balance sheet.

Surely this forces TPG and Vodafone to hold hands?

Would any such JV need to be established soon, prior to the auction?
