    I think we should clarify why robbo24. The fact is the German Government wants to provide KNL with a guarantee to allow them to obtain bank funding (for a greenfields project this is almost unheard of, why do you think no other graphite "company" is in discussion for this?).

    ThyssenKrupp and the EGT (i'm on the record as saying i believe them to be SGL, the Klatten family, who are also majority owners of BMW) are incredibly well politically connected. Given Germany will take most of Epanko's stage-one production which will provide them 30% of their graphite needs, they want assurances now they've exposed themselves to the wrath of China that they have an out. Epanko is their out.

    KNL has some serious backers, and this takes time. Still though, we'll be the 1st-2nd new major producing graphite mine outside of China/Russia in the world.
