Polishing a turd all right, but you have it back to front.

I'm one of the vast majority of Australians sick and tired of those self-loathers who advocate their black armband view of history.

As someone says above, the PC brigade need to read a bit of history of any nation - look at the USA, UK, Germany, Japan, Italy .... all great countries. Every country has a dark past. The difference is they don't wail and whine beat their breasts and run down our proud colonial heritage.

Get a life ..... if you don't want to proudly celebrate Australia Day on 26 January, then just go to work.
