I posted about this speeding ticket happening this morning because I KNEW it would happen.
What amazes me further is how the market sells LNG down just because they say they have nothing to report. It doesn't mean they cannot report in a few days time with a game changer of an announcement.
I tend to go with the theory that the market generally knows. The buying that we saw late last week gave me an indication that someone knows something. Whether an announcement comes is anyones guess.
The fact that LNG has nothing to report does not concern me in the slightest. After all, how many times does a company get a speeding ticket and then respond with an announcement that is market sensitive. It rarely happens if ever.
They generally come out with the announcement the next day or within the week. And then they give their reasons why they were not ready to release it if questioned further by the ASX. It's a whole lot of nonsense.
I am more dissappointed with managements lame response. In this business the SMART operators make every post a winner. LNG failed miserably on that score. I could have written two long paragraphs on all the good things that have happened recently that could help explain why the share price rose last week. I mentioned some of these in an earlier post this morning..

When you are earning big money in director fees and the like, you have to be on your game and be ahead of the pack. They should have anticipated that a speeding ticket was more then likely and they should have had something exciting to report to make people want to buy shares in a company that has plenty of upside potential. In other words, earn your pay cheque. As a shareholder am I asking too much ??

When LNG rose from 30c to 5 dollars they reported on a regular basis and kept the market well and truely informed. M.B did a fantastic job in that regard and shareholders were the beneficiaries . It's not hard, it just requires some additional work and of course some thinking.

Hmm maybe it was such a lame response so to make takeover offer look that much better after the NTP just a thought
