Just heard on the ABC Adelaide a discussion with Tom Koutsantonis re the government grant to gas producers.
He said they had more applicants than they imagined..he wouldn't give the numbers but suggested more than 12 companies have applied.
When outlining companies in the Cooper Basin, Beach was mentioned Cooper Energy and Strike were also mentioned.
One of the conditions for successful companies is a priority, not unexpectedly, to supply SA industry and households with gas before exporting.
Guess we will find out soon enough.
