What was your reason for buying HNR? ie. the tip you received

I bought into it b'cos of the management team and the fact that they recently made Frank Cannavo director. I suspect that they appointed him as a director mainly because he's good friends with management and wants in on the action that will unfold shortly. I can see no other reason why he was made a board member as he does not appear to have any director/ management experience (announcement stated that 'he has been a long term supporter of a number of exploration companies' - not my idea of a key criteria for a good director). The companies he has been a long term supporter of are of course Western Areas, Jubilee and Fox resources which surprisingly have had the same management team at some point in time.
