There's no way of answering you because you don't even have the foundations of understanding in place.

The image or likeness of the human to God is via an aspect of God that is attached to each human at conception, that being a spiritual component. The image or likeness to God is spirit, we are gifted an aspect of spirit. Somebody in your religion came up with the idea that we do not have an immortal soul or spirit, so you then have no way of understanding the teachings of Jesus because they were given to elevate the human spirit. The Bible is written for the human spirit.

What is to be gained if a sinner is given back his hearing and still sins? What is to be gained if the sinner who is deaf to the words of God is made whole so as to hear the words of God. A transformation takes place that effects many.

What if the cripple who walks an evil path is made whole and still walks in evil? What then if the cripple on the path to God is guided to walk the straight and narrow path? A transformation takes place that effects many.

By rendering the miracles as physical events one life is changed for a few extra years. By seeing the miracles for what they are, spiritual transformations, then many lives are changed, generation after generation. Which way of healing built the foundations of Christianity. Physical healing or spiritual transformation? Which way of healing rendered unto God a positive outcome?

There are very few accounts and little evidence to identify the real Jesus. The fact that He enlivened the spirt within so many who taught and willingly gave their lives informs us of His reality.

If you claim to be a lover of Jesus then you might consider loving what He loved the most about humans and gave His life for. The human spirit. The Bible is written by those who understood these concepts and wrote for those who loved Jesus and would clearly understand the metaphoric context.

The leper is diseased by sin. The deaf is deaf to the words of God. The cripple is crippled on the path to God. The dead is dead in spirit. This is clear when Jesus tells the disciples to let the dead bury the dead.

They spoke of Jesus' miracles and recorded them in a language of metaphor because there is no tongue that can adequately describe the transformation of the human heart. It is then up to the lover of Christ to penetrate the reality of His mission which was to bring about a spiritual transformation.

It is surely the same One responsible for the preaching work of Jesus' disciples that continues to this day. If only you could understand what you are preaching.
