    ''DBT9, the Bible teaches that faith comes as result of examining "a body of evidence" that is readily available''

    No it doesn't. You are conflating the concept of faith with justified belief, which is different thing altogether.
    Which is clear to see if you consider the definition given in the bible;

    ''Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the assured expectation of what is hoped for, the evident demonstration* of realities that are not seen.'' * ''Or "convincing evidence"

    It doesn't follow. What the verse actually says is; ''Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.''

    'Faith is the substance of things hoped for' - which is - 'the evidence of things not seen.'' There is no mention or implication of external objective evidence required for faith. Faith being a belief held without the support of evidence.

    ''I'm convinced the holocaust really happened. What about you? Do you put faith in the available evidence?''

    I don't need faith for that. There is ample evidence for the holocaust. That, unlike faith, is a justified belief.
