John Howard workd like crazy - longer hours than any of us - loves his job - has an asset of a wife - (never seeks cheap publicity - New Idea - Womens Weekly sob stories as have other first ladies - and above all, apart from hoplding down his 7 day a week domestic job, he is a credible, dignifed stateman - with the class and courtesy of manner which makes us proud.
He's not some whining, cringing, apologist - looking for the quick populist vote. He has the courage of his convictions - and speaks out accordingly.
And that - if we are to continue to thrive and survive in the West - is EXACTLY the sort of leader we need. And have!
I am sick to death of John Howard bashing - and the anti- American hate disease so prevalent and trendy in the West today.
If they go back to their preferred previous isolationism policy -(and who could blame them) then heaven help the rest of us.
