Maybe we dont need " thugs " ..as you say to run the country , but we also MOST certainly dont need little " yes" men totally divorced from the general feeling within their own party . Howard has been very good at playing the politics , thats his skill ..little else .
Lets hope ..for the country , no matter what your colors may be ..that we have a strong viable opposition , you cant just unconditionally back one side or the other ..democracy depends on a competitive , viable opposition , this promotes party room debate aqnd allows the system to work . Over the past few years this has NOT been the case .
