FMS's true worth will be very far from a drop in the ocean. Have you not been reading some of the posts (BC, Rosiejia etc)?
As for companies disclosing vital information to the shareholders/public immediately, we should not be so naive. Companies have kept that type of information quiet and released it when it suited them. It does happen, IMO.
By the way can you please clarify your opening sentence?
