Thanks Tarax for that insight. The fact that quite a few companies in the top 100 have changed supports your view. Now that UEC is showing balance sheet strength I believe this should continue.
I agree with you Grant, especially on wireless which I know will become the new future for small users, for large companies though the security, cost and high bandwidth of a fibre optic cable is a big advantage. I thought satellite links were on the way out.
Trying to pick a value of a company is somewhat subjective. When the company is the subject of a takeover, even more so. I was surprised that UEL's owners sold it along with their electricity business. They would have been better to "put it in play". Maybe it was a case of too small bickies for all the work (with AMP and Atlinta both in trouble).
