just imagine labor winning, page-46

Unless you live in either Rudd's or Howard's electorate none of you will be voting for either of them - this is not the US and we don't vote for our Prime Minister. What do you do if you live in a safe lib or lab seat and your current representitive is doing a good job? What if you wanted to change your vote and the other party sent some inexperienced young person who didn't bother to ask for your vote, just to give them a run at the job? I find that this is the most frustrating thing about Federal elections, the lack of a real opportunity to make you vote count.
As for Rudd or Howard, it seems we might be changing one boring colourless person for a younger version, and one who can bend with the wind just as well as Howard. The best solution would be for Howard to quit the top job and let someone else in.
