DIEBLING ST1 WELL

PROGRESS
European Gas Limited (“European Gas”) is pleased to announce an update to the drilling activities and
further desorbable gas content analysis for the Diebling St1 well at the company’s Lorraine Project in
eastern France.
Currently the Diebling St1 well is at 1320.1 metres from surface and drilling in coal. The total net coal
intersected to date is at least 31.5 metres. This figure is likely to increase with the running of full
geophysical wireline logs.
A further two coal packets are likely to be encountered as drilling continues.
Desorbable gas content measurements have been carried out with results shown in the following table".
