I'm overworked and underpaid, like everyone else, so no biggy but I missed the Elvis Festival at Parkes (any excuse to get away) so I could be a might p*() *^& )$# ah, cheesed of (for want of a better word) but, hey, no, everything's cool.

That boy of yours, there you go, a mind of his own and enough discretion to bite him on the shoe. He's a smart little dog and he knows he has a good one i.e. yours truly.

I'm minding a Labrador at the moment until they or I can find a new owner for her. They are bred to be inoffensive or unobtrusive or whatever but gees there dull and its a horse. Looks like I have some takers so apparently a lot of people like that in a dog.
Personally I reckon if its not a working dog your after then the little ones are best. Dooley for example. Personality.

I've known some dogs that have had more admirable traits than a lot of people I have been acquainted with but probably best not touch on that.

All this Australia Day stuff. What a day. If you ask me its a genuine reason to get half stonkered. Its unreal. Ganga Jang. Crowded House HQ Holden's Hq Holden Statesman's 69 Ford Falcons Williamson for starters and that's just the DTT.


I new it was going to be good after I walked out the door first thing this morning. A great big flaming jet fighter shot past and Scared the crap out of me. It was so sudden I ducked. Needed a drink after that.

I hope Australias glory days aren't behind us.
