Ho Humm, you seem to ignore it take a majority on Liberal MP's to dump a leader. First time round Turnbull didn't challenge and the majority of MP's including Turnbull voted to give Abbott more time. Time passed and things had got worse so second time around the majority of MP's had given up on Abbott.
Abbott was advised by a number of MP's and John Howard to get rid of Credlin and Hockey, if was only to try and save his arse that he threw Hockey under a bus
