Hi kingpins, For me, it's not that hard. I just don't think you can point at any group of people and say "They're all bad"" or "They're all good" or whatever. Folks here at HC are constantly denigrating various ethnic or religious groups and making blanket statements about their desirability or otherwise which are often wholly unjustified.
By way of example, we are told by many here that Muslims are evil, ignorant, dangerous woman abusing terrorists. To be sure, some do indeed fit that profile as do plenty of others. My own experience with Muslims is quite contrary to that description and I firmly believe that in Australia there are few who fit that negative profile. Yet day after day, here on HC we get a never ending torrent of hate directed at such people purely on the basis of their religion. If that isn't bigotry then perhaps you can tell me what to call it?
