Simply put edencrete is not a no brainer. It depends on the results you want to achieve. Concrete is cement, stones and sand with water added to produce a chemical reaction. If this produces the results required then there is no advantage in adding edencrete. Eden has better credibility by saying to the client "Just add a bit more cement than saying use edencrete"
These tests are most likely potential client focused and it is the client and not edencrete that says the test passed or not. What may pass for one client may not pass for another. Thus it is not in your interest or my interest or the company's interest to say "the test with XYZ company to see if there was an economic advantage for using edencrete in concrete for house slabs, failed" when there may be an advantage for ABC company.
I drove past a house I owned in 1974. To get a better look I parked down the road and walked around the block. The driveway poured in 1974 was still solid and I saw no noticeable cracks, just a bit of heave from plants, some wear on the colour surface, which was a cement with colour oxide sprinkled on and trowelled in. This was 100mm thick with no reinforcement. Would there be an advantage using edencrete. A definite NO.
There will be many applications that edencrete will fail to add an advantage. We are only after the applications that edencrete has an advantage. In these cases we can then pass the information gained to others, and give honest advice where edencrete does not suit.
