My answer is that it is wrong for those 6 Arab nations to ban Jews. But will we make it better by doing as they do or should we be the light of the world showing a better way. You can be a total atheist but still understand that the society we enjoy has been built on the golden rule of "Do unto other as you would have them do unto you". We did not build our free society on "Do unto others before they do to you" or "Do unto others as you think they deserve according to your standards because they are filthy Muslims".

The path we have taken in that regard has been at times a rocky one. We have not always lived ourselves according to the ideal of the golden rule. The treatment of African Americans in the pre civil rights era is a shameful example of that. And though the battle was a fierce one we are now much closer to the ideal of equality for African Americans to the point that the first African American has just left the office of president of the United States. I think most folks would agree that the status quo today is a more ideal one than it was in the days when the good ol' boys of the deep south roamed around lynching at will.

Ultimately to protect our own free society we must continue to uphold the values of freedom and equality. We must do what we know to be right and not just do as what others are doing because they are doing it.
