    Hi FedExpress,

    Your statement:

  2. Wouldn't it be in their interests to explore and find and process ore themselves, especially in the height of the uranium boom? Why would they let another 3rd part use vital processing requirements?

  3. May I refer you to BLR's announcement on the 6th of June 2006 "Strategic Alliance to Develop Uranium Projects". Hopefully this will help.

    Cheers,

    Brantley

STRATEGIC ALLIANCE TO DEVELOP URANIUM PROJECTS

  4. Black Range Minerals (the “Company”) is very pleased to announce that it has signed a strategic alliance with Uranerz Energy Corporation, a uranium exploration and mining company listed on the NASD OTC Bulletin Board in the USA.

  5. Under the terms of the strategic alliance Black Range shall be primarily responsible for managing and conducting
exploration programmes on advanced uranium projects
identified by the strategic alliance partners.

  6. Once sufficient uranium resources have been delineated by Black Range, Uranerz Energy shall be primarily responsible for bringing these projects into production and their subsequent operation.

  7. This is an alliance of two companies with considerable
    complementary skill sets.

  8. Black Range will apply its
aggressive exploration strategies to fast-track development of advanced uranium projects.

  9. With more than 100 years combined experience bringing uranium in-situ recovery deposits into production and ensuring their subsequent efficient operation, Uranerz Energy’s directors and management team are well positioned to ensure the successful commissioning and ongoing operation of the alliance’s projects.

  10. As part of the Company’s growth strategy Black Range has identified certain jurisdictions in North America that are highly amenable to uranium exploration and mining. The
Company has since been working aggressively to build a
portfolio of high-quality, advanced uranium projects within these domains. The establishment of the alliance with Uranerz Energy is an important step for the Company to realise its growth objectives and positions the Company well to participate in bringing uranium projects into production.

  11. The directors and management of both companies are
currently finalising specific terms for Black Range to earn an interest in some of Uranerz Energy’s advanced projects in North America. Further announcements regarding the acquisition of these and additional projects are expected in the near future.
