I think when DOC is declared the non-commercial (unexplored) areas of the exploration blocks will be relinquished and auctioned off by Sen Govt so the well funded players will want to explore interesting targets right up to current exploration PSC expiry date before DOC is declared and include those juicy areas they find on the next "production PSC" post DOC rather than relinquish and re-bid in the competitive process to continue exploration. Experienced oilers please interject if this is wrong.
