That's a very generic statement. The company is dealing in MANY different industries. It's not a matter of understanding the timeframes, it's a matter of becoming KNOWN in the industries. It is very difficult to forecast timeframes as it is the companies you deal with that dictate this. We are talking about a NEW technology and companies are being convinced to in many circumstances significantly change their manufacturing processes. Anyone who has ever been involved in 'selling' of this type knows what a difficult task that can be. An inevitably many projects end up taking longer than expected.
I am comfortable targets being missed when the company states that they've been missed because the companies want to EXPAND the product range. And of course you are not going to turn over EVERY prospect you come across.
It is a mild source of frustration for me that so many have no idea about the realities of business.
