Here is an alternative view, after years of low zinc prices causing serious losses and pain, why do glencore and Nostar want more zinc production from new mines if they can help it? The idea of cutting tonnes was to push the price back and keep it high for as long as possible. So perhaps does IBG have two major holders that may have ambitions not all that well aligned with other IBG shareholders? I think so.
