I'm back from our cruise and I see it's still business as usual. I had a very vivid dream while away that seemed like a omen to me which I will share. In the dream I returned back in Australia to newspaper headlines that read Andrew Grech had been convicted of fraud and the newspapers went on to say he was Australia's Bernie Madoff.

In the dream by the end of 2014 it became clear to AG the roll up ponzi scam was about to come unstuck. In a stroke of luck AG got the opportunity to keep the scam going when PSD became available to purchase. Of course it made no difference if PSD was losing money and AG made it clear to everyone no Quindell provided financials were even considered. SGH shareholders were told only the unprecedented amount of due diligence undertaken by SGH was considered. With AG in command the purchase was pressed on as fast as possible.

Of course all roll up scams come to an end when then bubble bursts. In the dream AG knew very soon after purchase that PSD was even worse then he thought possible but as usual AG deliberately withheld that information from shareholders. IMO material information is deliberately withheld from shareholders to this day.

In the dream AG thew himself at the mercy of the court saying he was just trying to get into the $100 million dollar club and originally had no plans to defraud shareholders. Being and experienced lawyer AG was convincing to the court as he had been to thousands of shareholders who believed him beforehand. The court was lenient and he was given just a week in jail for each of the 3000 shareholders scammed and conned in the complaint so he was given just 57 years in prison.

While this was only a dream it seems to me an omen being SGH is the largest shareholder class action in Australian history and ASIC now investigating claims of SGH FRAUD by management is very poignant. Personally I never believed AG was so incredibly stupid that it took around 9 months or so to figure out PSD was a disaster but shareholders were never informed of that fact. As I said IMO material information is deliberately withheld from shareholders to this day.

welcome back Jim I see the cruise and timeout hasn't tempered the bitterness. Are you looking to buy back in now, given you now know it was all only a dream in your head?
