I have to agree with you. This deal is absolute rubbish.
IBR have been hanging the for sale sign around town for months now and the best they could do was a scrip deal with a fellow minnow.The thing that really irritates me is that TMR will have no greater capacity to unlock the value of IBR's assets than the old IBR.
A pointless deal made worse by the fact that the only 'premium' in the offer is only present due to the recent run up in the TMR share price; the irony of this is that the run up was most likely caused by 'speculation about a deal involving the company'.
in short - I think it's kr...ap too.
i've sold my shares - good luck to holders.
