    Can you please outline the steps how this will diagnose diseases much faster and accurately?

    Pt 1 comes into hospital with a possible infection:
    --> gives ResAPP diagnosis
    --> gets Antibotics
    --> goes home
    --> 5 minutes tops in Hospital

    The above scenario would never happen in Australia, because that's not good practice.

    What would happen is:
    Pt 2 comes into hospital with a possible infection:
    --> waits in ED
    --> History is taken
    --> physical exam
    --> ResAPP diagnosis to supplement provisional diagnosis
    --> CXR to visually confirm: 1) LOCATION of infection, 2) TYPE of bacterial infection, 3) any other underlying lung pathology
    --> gets antibotics
    --> goes home

    Take out the ResAPP step, that's what we currently do. ResAPP will not change the speed of diagnosis, however if may improve the final accuracy of diagnosis.
    Telehealth is a totally different ball game.

    The reason why you have never seen a Xray that are cheap is because you've probably never seen the receipt! Unless you are not an Australian citizen or permanent resident, chest Xrays are bulk billed, and do NOT attract an out of pocket cost. There are no fear-mongering "hidden costs" with getting a CXR, either publicly or with a private Radiology firm. If you are not an Australia citizen, like any other test, you will be charged for the privilege of using ResAPP.

    I think you're being irrational, esp when you start attempting to shame and guilty me. If you've read my posts properly, which I highly doubt, you would know that I'm a great supporter of this technology, for as you say "the service of humanity". Honestly answer me this, do you think the overcrowded and overworked hospitals in India and China, their Drs are going to be pulling out their phones, linking into the cloud and using ResAPP? What they will do is eyeballing a pt, quickly listening to their lungs and sending them home with antibiotics, no further tests. That's the reality of health care in 3rd world countries.
